10th Annual Earth Day Celebration, "Water, Water, Everywhere?", on the Townsend Common, Rtes 119 & 13, Sat., April 25th, 10 am-3pm Rain Date is Sun.  April 26th, noon-4 pm.  We have 25 non profit groups, over 40 vendors, crafters and local businesses joining in the festivities. Items to bring to Earth Day; returnable bottles and cans, plants for the free plant swap, paper goods, boxes of cereal and canned goods for TEO, empty wine bottles and corks for Blackmoon-Recycled Art.

Also, the donated textiles competition between the schools will be going on. . You can pick a NMRSD school to help win the competition! Please separate your good usable items from the lousy items (torn sheets, blankets with holes, stained pillows, old stuffed animals, worn out/single shoes/flipflops, clothing with missing buttons/broken zippers-the items just can not be wet or smelly!) The good textiles will be donated to TEO and the not so good to Bay State Textiles for recycling!

Food will be for sale via the 4-H Camp Middlesex group and children's games will be run by the NMRHS Relay for Life Committee. Andy the Armidillo from the Texas Roadhouse and the Canaligator from the Spinners will be visiting. Entertainment at the gazebo all day! If the ground is still too wet, an alternate location on pavement will be arranged. We will post a sign  on the common with the alternate location.
